Event and conference facilities on Tampere’s Lake Näsijärvi
Welcome to Conference Hotel Murikanranta! We offer functional and inspiring conference and event facilities, as well as excellent services in the seclusion of Finnish nature.
Our hotel is located in the peaceful natural scenery on the shores of Lake Näsijärvi, only 35 kilometers from Tampere city center! Only a 40-minute drive away, you will be welcomed by the completely renovated building – which won an architecture competition in 1974 – and the luscious surroundings.
We offer conference facilities for up to 250 persons and event spaces for 300, with accommodation available for 208 overnight guests.
In our hotel, you will also find a modern spa. Enjoy the sauna at the end of a busy day, or, if the discussions become too heated, you can take a dip in our cold-water pool, as conferences can also be arranged in the spa section.

If you are organizing an event for a large audience, choose the spacious and impressive auditorium located next to the main lobby. The space can accommodate a total of 140 people.

At Murikanranta, you will find a wide selection of different meeting rooms suitable for training sessions and working in small groups. The rooms are easy to customize and can accommodate 6–80 participants.
Sports hall
A venue for large events
Murikanranta’s sports hall is an excellent venue for large events and gatherings. The space is equipped with a projector screen with conference and audio-visual technology available. The hall can accommodate 250 people.
Beach sauna and fireplace room
A relaxed setting for a meeting or sauna evening
Adjacent to Murikanranta’s beach sauna, there is a cozy and spacious fireplace room, perfect for socializing after a conference, for example. You can order catering to the beach sauna, which also has an alcohol license.
Spa section
Say goodbye to dry conferences
Our most stylish conference space is the spa section and its fireplace room. The pools come equipped with a large screen, a projector, and a high-quality sound system. The fireplace room accommodates up to 12 conference attendees and features a lounge area, a genuine fireplace, and a small kitchen with serving tables.
Murikanranta’s magnificent lake milieu will help you escape from stressful everyday life, no matter the occasion. In the same location, you will also find the Murikka-opisto Academy. Welcome!

Accommodation
In our high-quality beds from Unikulma, you are guaranteed a good night’s sleep. We offer single and double rooms as well as comfortable family rooms. In total, we can accommodate 208 guests.
Spa and saunas
Our splendid spa section offers pampering at the end of the day – or even during a conference! You can have meetings by the pools, as a large screen is available. By the lake shore, a log sauna awaits. Its fireplace room creates an atmospheric setting for any conference.
Restaurant
Indulge in our panoramic restaurant, which not only offers a lake view but also a diverse buffet. In the evening, the Mutteri Club is a great place for socializing with billiards or board games.
